I'm wondering is there a way to use the flash player activeX included in R3 in
a mfc dialog based program?

Thanks,

The simplest way should be including IE as ActiveX inside your
application and use a simple HTML page to load the player.
You can load the ActiveX directly, of course, but you should support
hosting and some extended interfaces that IE exposes and, IIRC, there is
something in the player license included in R3 that talks about
in-browser flash support, I don't know if using it as the main UI of
your app may broke some license.
