There are multiple entries in the System event log about every 30 seconds.
In the mean time I just stopped the RIP Listener service and have it's
startup set to manual.
I understand that RIP really isn't needed for most users, but the question
remains as "why" and "how can it be fixed".
Thanks,
Nathan
I am using a Wimax connection which is connect to a wireless router via
cable and wireless adapter to get shared connection to the router. ie
any user can now connect to the router and then the internet via
computer with wimax set to shared internet.
The routers Dynamic RIP was set to Lan / Wireless and I was getting
IPRIP errors continually. Disabling RIP solved the problem.
