i just opened my account with windows mail and my email provider is windows
live...but i did something wrong i know im no genius but can you please help,
this is the error message that pops ups when i try to send a message
*The host 'pop3' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the
server name correctly.
Account: 'windows mail', Server: 'pop3', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

Not even in the ballpark.

NB: Set Outgoing server (SMTP) to Port 587, not Port 25!

Windows Mail's new account wizard is hard-coded to reject na...@hotmail.com
and na...@msn.com addresses. When you enter your email address during setup,
use a dummy one (e.g., na...@notmail.com). After you've finished, go back
and change the email address to the correct one.
