Is there a size limit on sending? I have a video with 6701KB that is stuck
in the Outbox forever (and blocks all others to go out behind it). If I
delete it, receive/send works fine. Msg. I get is: Server not responding -
wait or stop. I already worked with Comcast; they don't see a problem. I
have McAfee Security Center and disabled it's functionality but still, the
message never goes out.

Error message ?
What is the Comcast message size limit ?
AV and Firewall log provide any clues?
- disable AV incoming and outgoing scanning
- if Norton, also disable Internet Worm Protection
Event Viewer provide any clues ?

Try uninstalling McAfee. That should fix it. See
www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

Your ISP may have a limit to the outgoing message size, but if they indicate
its not an issue, then try getting rid of McAfee. Also check size of the
message in the outbox, as the video gets encoded and that increases its size
about 30% when its transmitted.

Hi all,

If you uninstall your AV, then you might try using Avast Home Edition
Anti-virus. I had no problems with it yet and it's free, but you do
need to register it.

Here's the download & registration link (look in upper right corner of
site):

'_http://avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html_'

Hope you like it,
Shawn

Try going to your account, tools>accounts, select the account then the
properties button, then on the advanced tab select 'break apart messages
larger than 500KB, apply/ok.
Now try sending?
Recipients will need to select all parts of the message and use the 'combine
& decode' feature to be able to view the Video.

Thanks for the hints but I had already checked on all of these. It revealed
nothing and Comcast couldn't determine anything either.

Uninstalling McAfee seems to fix many Windows Mail problems! :-)

Thanks for the download info of "avast". I uninstalled AV completely and
registered and downloaded the free home edition of avast's virus program and
it works great.
Thanks again.

You must be assuming without looking. Look at my reply again; it email
address is not there. You just assumed it was. If I am wrong, then please
tell me the domain name of the email address that you see.
