Hi,

Could someone help me with this. I keep on getting this message everythime
I sign on the computer. It doesn't come only when I go to my email:

"An error occurred either -5 pr .5
Visit http//consumer.installshield.com for more information

When I click on "ok" it will take me to check if there are any available
updates but this message has been coming up for a few months now.

Can anyone give me some advice?

Thanks,

Suggest you post this to the newsgroup that matches your OS. If it is Vista then
post it to the public.windows.vista.general newsgroup

In the meanwhile go and check your 3rd party Installshield installation or contact
support at www.consumer.installshield.com

Nadia this is not the correct newsgroup for this question, you need to use a
general newsgroup related to your Operating System.

Try this to see if you can find a way to disable it?

My guess is that the error is from software you installed that was not
developed by Microsoft. If there is anything else in the messages that give
a clue to what that other software is, then you should contact that vendor
or at least look at their help information.
