can not open group contact folders in windows mail

not sure what has happened but as of today whne i try to openmy contact group
i am asked with default program i need to open it with.

so my 2 questions are :
1. why did this change
2. which default program will open my group contact

Open the Default Programs applet, which you can access either from
the Start menu or via the Control Panel, then click the first item:
"Set your default programs."
After a few seconds, a list of programs comes up. Click on "Windows
Contacts". If it doesn't respond with "This program has all its defaults"
then fix it by clicking on the option indicated by the first green arrow.

Mine has never changed since I began using Vista in the fall of 2006,
but then I'm pretty fussy about what type of problematic security
programs I allow on my computers.
