Problem with highlighted section in Windows Journal

If I highlight text in Windows Journal and afterwards print it to pdf (using
PDF-Creator or Adobe) the highlighted part of the text will be hidden behind
solid colour of the highlighter. On the screen itself everything is ok. If it
do it the other way round, i.e. first use the highlighter and then enter
text, the pdf will be fine. Can anyone help me with this problem?

The simplest solution might be to open another journal window, past the
selection there and print.

The other thing you might try is cutepdf... adobe's output has been a
pain for me and cutepdf seems to do much better in most cases...
including speed.
