Hello, developers.

Have anybody tried using Pen and Recog APIs in Windows Logon
Programming, i.e. in GINA? I wonder COM object and C++ APIs can be
used in GINA programming. If anyone have experences in these, give any
hints or knowledge.

Thanks in advance.

Lee.

Lee,

The InkCollector is not supported on the secure desktop, since there is no
pen service running inside the secure desktop.
The InkCollector and associated components are only available once a user
has logged in, and the pen service starts up under the user's account.

Symptoms of this scenario are:
IInkCollector::put_Enabled fails with 0x8000ffff when running in secure
desktop.

Thank you for your interest,
