alright heres the deal, my start menu is in the classic theme. bu i dont know
how that happened. now im trying to get it back to the xp theme but when i go
to the start menu properties and try to deselect the classic theme, it wont
do it. i need help on how to get the start menu to go back to the xp version.

Hi chuch90,
In control panel -> display properites -> Themes, change your theme to
Windows XP.
