Airpanel with dock in stand-alone

Hi,

I would like to use my V150 with its dock in stand-alone mode to use
the panel wireless and be able to use the power and USB ports of the
dock. I understand from one of the threads in this group, namely

that you can tape certain pins of the connector in the dock to use the
AC power and the wireless mode. But has anyone managed to make the USB
ports work ?
