Windows Update Service is not working

Hi All,

I am using windows SBS Server 2008 SP2 & just recently installed WSUS 3.0
SP2 on it. But since then its not working, Port 8530 is already open on this
server through hardware router. But when I go to windows update in control
panel I get following error message
"An error occured while checking for new updates for your computer. Error
found: code 8024401f windows update encountered an unknown error."

I am unable to access the WSUS from its console as well, as I am getting
"Error : Connection Error. An error occurred trying to connect the WSUS
server. This error can happen for a number of reasons. Check the connectivity
with the server. Please contact your network administrator if the problem
persists."

This server is connected to internet. I also tried reinstalling the wsus
server still the same issue
Restarted the Update Services service, IIS Service and windows internal
database. But still the same problem

For all wsus event ids I found IIS the application is using ASP.NET 2.0
instead of ASP.NET 1.1 & value for PortNumber under the key
"HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Update Services\Server\Setup" is set to "Port:
8530". I tried installing .Net 1.1 with sp2 and enable the asp.net 1.1 in IIS
just to check if this resolve our issue but no effect so removed the .net
framework 1.1 and disabled it in IIS as well.
