Service Exit code 0x240001

Hello List,

I have the following line in my WSUS controlled WindowsUpdate.log file
(I assume everybody else does as well)

Service ** END ** Service: Service exit [Exit code = 0x240001]--

Is this a success exit code or a failure exit code.

I ask this because my workstation is showing 'No Status' on a Windows
Defender update (KB915597), as is one other, yet the workstations do not
have Defender installed.

I am therefore looking for a reason for these workstations not informing
the WSUS server of their status correctly.

How do i make the workstations involved update properly, they have a
last status report time of 28/07/2008 yet my workstation has been on
continually since that time.
