when I run the client diga tool, I get this:

Okay.. so your IIS server is returning an HTTP '503' error saying that it's
overloaded.

First thing.... install WSUS Service Pack 1 !!!!!

Then.... if the problem persists after installation of the service pack,
consider these questions:

Have you checked the IIS logs?

Is the server overloaded?

How many web servers are running on this machine?

What other services are running on this machine?

How many clients are configured to update from this WSUS server?

What is the detection frequency you have configured for these clients?
