Up until this week everything has been hunky dory. Now, I have noticed today
the the WSUS download status is stuck on 0MB.
I've tried 'BITSADMIN /reset /allusers' at the CMD but that didn't make any
difference.
I've also cancelled the download of all 'needed' files from within WSUS, but
it's still showing "Downloading 0.00 MB of 28.22 MB".
There are no errors in the Event Logs, so I'm at a bit of a loss.
Any ideas?
Neil
We had the same problem yesterday.
You can find the solution in my post "WSUS SP1 and event id 364 when trying
to download updates".

Do you see any errors in Application Event Log?

"Content file download failed. Reason: The destination file system volume is
not available. Verify that another program, such as CheckDisk, is not
running, which would lock the volume. When the volume is available,
Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) will try again."
We had an eval version of Symantec BE installed on the server. Since
disabling and stopping the BackupExec services, WSUS has sprung back to life
:D
Never come across that one before, and never liked BE anyway, so it's no
real loss!
