No IE and properties pages on 2 diff servers after rollover update

Hi,
Did the first update 4 rollover on a 2k server in July. Because of an older
raid card I had to do the same uninstall as many others.
After the uninstall I couldnt browse the internet anymore. Not even the
homepage, even though the hompage is a local page on the server. IE opens and
the flag is waveing for hours...
Also, almost all properties pages are impossible to view, as with the
connection page in internet options. After 1 or two hours the properties
pages comes. Also goes for properties in device manager and many, many other
places...
After the new version of update rollover I did the rollover again on this
server - without positive effect on the internet browsing and properties
pages. However, since I thought the probs came with the first version of the
update, and since I havent seen this problem here, I thought it would be safe
to do the update on another server.
This 2nd server has no exactly the same problem. No internet browsing and
not showing up the properties pages for a very, very long long time...
No other processes are running (system idle >90%), so it is not because of
the number of processes.
All updates were done on the servers before the update rollover...
Plz, any ideas?
