Agent: Refreshing global settings cache

off. Almost all clients are connecting to the new server. But I have one
Windows 2000 DC that seems to have an issue. It will report in the Windows
Update log that it is Agent: Refreshing global settings cache, and it will
then try to connected to the old WSUS server. After awhile it will fail and
AD policy will point it back to the correct server. The cycle seems to happen
every 30 mintues, will the logs growing.
The old server used port 80, and the new one uses 8530, I have run client
diag and the client can talk to the new WSUS just fine. So I am at a loss as
to why or what is point it it back to the old server. i have also run the
following commands after seaching on the forum, but these did not resolve the
issue:

I am not sure if this server was at one time pointed to a SUS v1, but when I
ran Client diag while it had the old reg settings the following line appered:

Is it possible that the AU updates also check in with Microsoft, or is the
described target cookie located on the my WSUS server?
