Hello,

Have a problem with the administrator and guest accounts.

In the Local Security Policy management dialog, I get the following odd
entries:

Accounts: Administrator account status Not Applicable
Accounts: Guest account status Not Applicable
Network access: Allow anonymous SID/Name translation Not Applicable

When I right click on any of these, the enable/disable radio buttons are
greyed out.

Needless to say, I can not access this PC from others on the local network.

Thanks,
Bill Zhou

Hello Bill,

Are this machines domain members or standalone? If domain member, check the
OU where the machines are located for the linked GPO's and there settings.
On the client run gpresult /v and check what policies/settings are applied.

Best regards

The machine is a standalone Windows Server 2003 server.

Thanks,
