The QFIL Tool v2.0.3.5, also known as the Qualcomm Flash Image Loader, is a Windows-based application designed to flash or install stock firmware or recovery images onto devices powered by Qualcomm. It supports a wide range of Qualcomm devices, including smartphones, tablets, and modems.
QFIL Tool v2.0.3.5 is primarily employed to flash stock or custom firmware images onto Qualcomm devices, particularly when the device is bricked or requires restoration to its original state. This becomes particularly beneficial when over-the-air (OTA) updates are not feasible or if the device fails to boot up properly.
I also have the one labeled as sp970, it doesn't support modem as ufi003. Also I found Miko is easier to use for flashing and dumping image compared to edl tool. always get error on windows when using edl.
A little I managed to find out the tftp flashing wiped a section of the uboot mtd which lost the mac which was needed to get the wifi working. =67548 In the end I managed to write those values back in to uboot which fixed the wifi.
I can't get it to flash via the web interface though which kind of makes it pointless when they are so welded together i have to damage the case and do so much soldering to get Openwrt on it.

With the oem firmware the console is password protected after initial boot so it's difficult to get around the checksum error. I've also had a lot of other work to do so have left it there until I have more time. Mine is an AU version btw.
We were also impressed by the new phablet's flash performance. Unlike the Lumia 1020 the 1520 does not feature a powerful Xenon flash but its dual-LED flash unit still offers better performance than most competitors with conventional LEDs, in terms of both power and exposure. Overall, the Nokia Lumia 1520's image quality is not quite on the same high level as its sister model, the Lumia 1020, but is among the very best we have seen among smartphones.
