SBS 2003 is nice but has outlook in the same language as the server.
The problem with this is that I don't like a non english server.
Reasons:
- Slower updates available in the language (security issue?)
- When you get errors it is harder to find them on google (more time that I
have to bill to my customers)

So my question is if I can download or order somewhere a outlook CD in the
language I want, and use the license key provided with it.

In my opinion this also should be possible for all clientapps. We as admins
should be able to run a English server but use clients in different versions.

Hello,

Thank you for your post.

Please allow me to confirm that my understandings are correct. As I
understand it, the issue is:

As the Outlook provided by SBS 2003 server use the same language as the
server, you would like to know if you can download or order somewhere an
Outlook CD in the language you want, and use the license key provided with
it.

If I have misunderstood your concerns please feel free to let me know.

Currently, I am not sure if you can download or order somewhere an Outlook
CD in the language you want. At this point, you may need to contact
Microsoft Customer Service and Support (CSS) directly for detailed
information. For a complete list of Microsoft Customer Service and Support
(CSS) phone numbers and information about support costs, visit the
following Microsoft Web site:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;CNTACTMS

Hope this helps. Also, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not
hesitate to let me know.

Thank you for your time and cooperation.

Best regards,

Robbin Meng(MSFT)
