SBS 2003 Terminal Services in Application Mode

Has anyone else experimented with changing the value of the key
TSAppCompat under HKLM\System\CurerntControlSet\Control\Terminal
Services from 0 to 1? I did this on a new install of SBS 2003, and now
have 6 users simultaneously connected running a TS application.
The only side-effect noticed so far is the behavior of one or two MMC
apps. They function, but some colors aren't displaying correctly.
This leads me to believe Microsoft has intentionally tied this totally
unrelated registry key to the MMC app to discourage customers from
changing it.
I would like to hear from any of you who have done this same thing, and
if you have other problems that I have not yet experienced. Thank you.

The SBS 2003 can not support Terminal Services in Application Server mode,
This is a change from Small Business Server 2000. Running Terminal Services
in Application Server mode on a domain controller may present a security
risk to your network.

And Microsoft can not guarantee or support any issues caused by the change.
Thanks for your understanding!

If you want to use Terminal Services in Application Server mode, we
recommend that you purchase an additional Windows Server 2003 license and
install an additional server running Windows Server into the Windows Small
Business Server 2003 domain.

"experimented" yes this is the exact word, absolutely not recommended
on a production system.
So I try this but after the system was not very stable, mmc didn't work
at all even in reinstalling adminpak.msi and colors and graphisms
weren't no longer displayed correctly.
Following this document http://www.bagsolutions.orcon.net.nz/ it worked
O.k. with only one console (window) open at a time
Now yes Microsoft has intentionally tied this, I think this is stupid
because the aim of SBS packages is to do all in one, probably
commercial reasons even they justify this by the following "Running
