Guys,

We have SBS2003, Exchange 2003+SP1 Installed here and after the
weekend, all emails seem to be hung in the "Local Delivery" queue. I
have tried runnig ICW again but to no avail. It won't let out any
email externally or internally between accounts. I tried creating two
new accounts "Test1" and "Test2" and sent a mail from 1 to 2 but 2
never got anything (also neither got the two welcome messages).
Interestingly enough, I can see the two welcome messages for each user
stuck in the queue, but not the one that I sent from Test1 to Test2.

This is doing my nut in now and I have frozen the queue as I am scared
of losing all of the emails.

Has anyone had this problem before ?

TIA

Please go to the following URL and download and install the hotfix. This
should resolve the problem.

I hope this helps

Thanks for that, I just tried it but no difference I am afraid ! I was not
getting the events that the kb item suggests either but I tried anyway ! I'm
up for anything short of another full SBS rebuild again !

Cheers,

Danny.

And see what happens. Report back.

Hi Susan,

What do you mean by Trend?
I just checked and we already have it installed ! Just installing all of the
relevant updates for SBS2003. Will report back when I have rebooted the
server.

Cheers,

Danny.

Okay,
No joy whatsoever ! Seriously thinking about scrapping the server and
rebuilding ! I cannot seem to track any messages, just tried to send an
email from one local account to another local account but nothing. Can't
even find the message in message tracker ! Surely there must be a way to
track messages from reciept to delivery or non delivery ?
I would be grateful for any help.

TIA

Cheers,

Danny.
