Does this issue occur on one specific account?
What client is used to receive email via IMAP4?

Check whether you turn on diagnostic logging for IMAP.
To check Diagnostic Logging on the IMAP service:
1). Start Exchange System Manager.

Step 2.
Please use another healthy IMAP workstation to connect to the problematic
mailbox. Can this issue be reproduced?
If it is not true, please temporarily uninstall antivirus applications and
firewalls from the problematic workstation. Does this issue stop?
If it is true, please create a new mailbox enabled user account on the
Exchange server. Does this issue can be reproduced on the new mailbox?
Step 3.
