Do you mean you can only send and receive internal email?
Did you run the CEICW and configured how Exchange is supposed to send email
out?
Do you have an A record and an MX record out on the internet?
What SBS version are you running?

Romac:

It would help to have an understanding of the kind of mail that is sent and
the kind of mail that is not sent.

Can you post one or more of each kind of address? Perhaps we can get a
better understanding and offer more assistance.

You don't have to give out anything confidential, and you can change the
first part of the address if you think it would help. For example, if you
are able to send to john...@address1.com, change it to
nob...@address1.com. And if you are unable to send to li...@address2.com,
change it to some...@address2.com.

It is the last part of the address that we would like to see, so long as you
are positive that linda actually exists at the address you are sending to.

In addition to what Larry has said, I would like to know what you mean by
"sending to external exchange email addresses". Any external email is send
via SMTP without any reference as to if the receiving server is an Exchange
server or some other flavor.

Hi Claus:

Without really saying so, that is what I was asking as well. I was hoping
to get something back from the OP that showed me the error of my ways.
Maybe we will both find out something???

Larry,

I have no idea what the OP is talking about with "external exchange mail".
I'm really curious now.
