SBcore error

Hi When I install sp2 and critical updates the SBServer delay about 20 min to
load and send a messae with a error check, the error is about SBCore and says
the liecese server don´t start and shuttdown in 60 min.
I try installing only critical update and the same scenario happend

waht is the problem ??

Will you please post detail error info in Event Viewer here? (You can open
the event, and hit Copy button to copy entire message)

When did the problem start to happen? Did you finish SBS Integrated Setup
within 7 days since you started SBS installation?

If this is not the case, this can be a complex and urgent issue, and I

La configuración de permisos que depende de la aplicación no concede permiso

al SID (S-1-5-20) de NT AUTHORITY\Servicio de red del usuario. Este permiso
de seguridad se puede modificar mediante la herramienta administrativa
Servicios de componentes.

I explain the escenary
I install a Dell Power Edge server with W2k SBS R2 preloaded works fine
without problem and was 12 days ago.
After finish installation downloaded SP2 and critical update, fixes, etc.,
when restart to complete this updates, the server delays about 20 min. to
prompt user login, and send a message with at least one error in a service.
After 1 hr aprox. user logon the error about license and shutdown alert
/error appears in event viewer (I check it after the server shut down when I
add users )
Since I don´t find the error causes, backup the event log and reinstall all
again, after finish, download only critical updates no SP2, and the same
error appears , then re-reinstall and don´t download any update for OS, at
this time works fine, but I think need update for security and updates, but
maybe some these needs a extra license

I'm sorry that I'm not able to read Spanish, and without exact error info,
it will be difficult for us to do further research. At this point, I
suggest you to post in localized newsgroups, or wait for other MVP's
response.

(I love watching Lost, and I love Hugo, but...sorry I'm not able to read

Hi Hugo,

There's no SBS newsgroup in Spanish, so I suggest you to post in Windows
Server 2003 newsgroup.

In addition, since this issue happened on a Dell OEM server, I also
recommend you to contact Dell for a discussion to see whether it's a known

I think BackOffice SBS = SBS 4.5/2000. But YES there're many SBS 2003
questions in the newsgroups.

It is a spanish language (es) news group for older versions of sbs

But Hugo (the op) and Bill (MSFT) did not seem to know, so I thought I would try a subtle hint.  If you read Bill's original reply, he says "There is no SBS newsgroup in Spanish...."
