Setup error, Needs SQL 2000 SP3 when SP4 already installed

I need to re-run the SBS 2003 Setup. It stop on Setup Requirements and
indicates that "SQL Server 2000 needs SP3 for Windows Server 2003
compatability." The next button is greyed out, i can only cancel. Problem
is that when I installed the SQL portion of SBS Premium, i skipped SP3 and
just installed SP4. I tried to install SQL SP3 and it says that SP4 is
already there and quits.

How do I make the Setup program realize that SP4 is running and satisfy the
requirements page?

Thank you for posting in SBS newsgroup.

From your problem description, I understand this issue to be: you can not
re-run the SBS 2003 Setup due to the SQL version does not meet the
requirement. If I have misunderstood your concerns, please do not hesitate
to let me know.

As on my research result, during the upgrading process, the SBS server is
looking for the Version: 8.00.760 or higher within the registry for SQL. If
you have SQL SP4 installed, the version should be 8.00.2039. Currently, I
would suggest you check the version of the SQL via the following registry
key.

1. On the SBS server, open registry editor (regedit.exe).
2. In the registry Editor go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSSQLServer\MSSQLServer\CurrentVersion

Greetings:
I was able to resolve the problem by upgrading the SBS 2003 SP. I was still
on the original RTM and once I ran the SBS SP it recognized that the SQL 2000
SP4 satisfied the requirements and i was able to continue past that point in
the SBS 2003 Setup program and the reinstall the corrupt fax console.
