We use roaming profiles in our 2003 domain. When I create
a new user. The servetr creates the profile directory
correctly, but only assigns the USERNAME and the SYSTEM
FULL control permission to the profile. It does not
assign the ADMINS. So when I need to add something to
someones profiles I am told that I have no permission to
view the profile folders. I have to take ownership to do
anything with them. I remember that our NT 4 domain would
assign the Admins permission as well. Is this by design
in Server 2003? Can someone give me a hint. Thanks you.

then set the option "add the administrators security group to roaming user
profiles"
this is where it is on win2k server, and to the best of my knowledge, its
about the same on 2k3 server
