Installed SQL 2005 SP3
The installed Sharepoint 3 sp2
During install it created a sharepoint OU
But now I can not find it any where
My question is how do I display the OU that are on my server
I seem to be brain dead and cannot find them anywhere
Using AD sites and Services
AD Users and Computers
AD Directory Domains and Trusts
Not sure where else to look
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly apprciated
Thanks
Tom
Any chance that you removed the Advanced view option in AD UC?

Forget my previous posting, realized now that you wrote OU, they should be
shown always in AD.

OUs are viewed and adminstered using Active Directory Users and Computers.
Are you saying that the Sharepoint installation created an OU in Active
Directory and you cannot find it in Active Directory Users and Computers?
I'm not totally familiar with Sharepoint. I've installed it once over a year
ago, but I don't remeber the installation procedure. But if it did create an
OU, it will be in Active Directory Users and Computers, no other place. If
it is a system OU, as Meinolf suggested, make sure Advanced View is enabled
in Active Directory Users and Computers.
If it was supposed to create the OU and you truly do not see it, then I
would imagine it is either a problem with AD, or the installation failed.
Post any event log errors on the machine. Make sure the Sharepoint machine's
IP DNS settings are only using the domain controllers for DNS (which should
be standard throughout the organization).
If there are no issues with AD, I would suggest to post to the Sharepoint
forums and newsgroup to get specific Sharepoint help, such as
microsoft.public.sharepoint.general and the
microsoft.public.sharepoint.setup_and_administration newsgroups.
I cross-posted to those groups for your convenience. Just check back here
for responses, or better yet, you can start a new thread in those groups.

That's good to know. Thanks, Gaz.
So this may be a procedural issue. So if Thomas can indicate what he is
trying to do, or what he is following that led him to believe it creates an
OU, would better help to assist him.
Thanks again, Gaz.

Not sure what Sharepoint you are installing but Sharepoint 3.0 does indeed
create a OU durnig installation
The installation interface displayed the information during the install
procedure
I have since created the OU manually
