Computer Account is gone ???

xp pro clients have already joined AD domain and worked well for a while ,
but recently some of them cannot login domain suddenly. after checking AD, i
found those computers account were disappear in AD.

i konw rejoin those computer to domain well fix it, but what's the problem.
"computer account expiration" ? or anything else i was missing ?

I've not heard of this before.  Has anyone been working with the AD lately that might have accidentally deleted them?  Or maybe they have been moved into another OU or Container.
 
Right-click the domain name, select Find, select the Find drop-down and select Computers, then press Find Now.
 
It should search the entire AD for these container types.
