My server has started rebooting unexpectantly at random
times. I subsequently find the following error in the
event viewer

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck
was: 0x00000044 (0x852ee748, 0x00000cca, 0x00000000,
0x00000000). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was
saved in: C:\WINNT\MEMORY.DMP.

I have been unable to find a concise resolution to this
problem. I am running W2K SP4, and the server is a Domain
Controller. I have a RILO card inststalled, and I am
currently using HP Management Agent 6.3

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve,

Thanks for posting!

My name is Jeff and I understand your issue to be:
The computer running Windows 2000 SP4 has rebooted from a bugcheck. The
bugcheck was: 0x00000044

Based on my research, I found out that HP had recently released an article
related to a stop error 0x00000044 issue that is very similar to yours.

I am not sure if your current HP agent software is patched or not.

Here is an article from HP (actually for Compaq system) that explained this
issue:

NOTE: The link above is long and please make sure you entered everything
