Wrong DNS; can't log onto DC

While troubleshooting why DNS wouldn't run on a new
Windows 2003 Domain Controller, I decided to set the DNS
as 127.0.0.1, I then restarted the server. Now I can't
log onto the server because the domain is not found.
Since it's a DC there are no local accounts to logon as.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to either bypass this
or remotely change the DNS address of the server.

Thanks,

Mark Vincent

Can't you log on using a local, rather than domain, administrator account?
On the logon screen click the "Options" button (if I recall correctly) and
change the domain to the local machine.

First step is to power the box down. Second step, unplug the network cable
from all nics. Third boot up server. It will let you in, make your changes
and reboot with cables attached.

I know there is a QB article somewhere but im to lazy to look at this
moment.

Oh and it will take a little longer than normal to boot without the cable
plugged but it will work so dont give up. Here is the article by the way

Could also go into DSRM and change it in there.
Remote registry will work too if not disabled.
