I have a ptr record that I would like to delete but each time I do, then
click refresh and its back again. The reverse zone is AD intergrated. I
am obviously missing something.

Ok so I need a syntax check...

dnscmd /recorddelete 7.254.105.10.in-addr.arpa 7.254.105.10 PTR
server.domain.org /f

correct?

Assuming 10.7.254.105 as the IPAddress:
and the reverse lookup zone as 10.7.254.x

dnscmd /recorddelete 254.7.10.in-addr.arpa. 105 PTR
