The last two nights, our DNS server (2003 srv, ad-int, secure only, forward
zone) has recorded 3 Event ID 7050s in the span of 30 minutes. Source =
none and details are as follows:
The DNS server recv() function failed. The event data contains the error.

This is happening around 8:30pm or so when there is little going on at the
office. Everything still seems to function properly and the MS site doesn't
have a ton of info on this error or possible causes. Anyone here have any
ideas? I did a search in google briefly and it seems a few third party apps
that do port probes could potentially cause this. We have no such programs
running...
