It's the AD Integration factor I am concerned about. I want absolutely no
chance that DNS removal on this server will affect DNS on the other DCs.
(Been there.)

Thanks for posting here.
Concerning about the DNS server, in the demotion process of DC, it will
automatically remove the corresponding SRV records of the domain in the
Active Directory Integrated Zone on all the DNS servers. Because there are
some other application may be depends on the DNS service in the
environment, we would like to suggest that you may demote the DC , and then
you may uninstall the DNS server.
