I have a DNS Server at SiteA named abc.local running sbs 2003, and a DNS
Server at remote site connected through a site-to-site VPN connection named
xyz.com running Windows Server 2003.
I would like to allow zone transfers from xyz.com to my abc.local DNS Server
in order to allow domain name scan resolution. I have added abc.local's IP
Address to the xyz.com zone for transfers, but I am receiving an access
denied when trying to connect.
Can someone please help me on how can I accomplish this?
Thank you

Have you tried allowing "From Any" for zone transfers to establish that it
works? With zone transfers, keep in mind, there are no credentials required.
An access denies just means it is not allowed to transfer. I've found
specifiying a specific IP may not always work and use Allow Any to establish
that it is actually working.
I assume there are no firewall rules or blocks across the VPN.
