Does anyone know of any File Migration Tools that can migrate data from NT to
2003 and retain the share and security permissions. The Microsoft File
Server Migration Toolkit only supports Enterprise or Datacenter Edition of
Server 2003? I am migrating a NT4 file servr to a 2003 standard edition
server that will run DFS. Any help that anyone can provide will be much
appreciated. Thanks.

Wierd.... I've used the File Server Migration Toolkit lots of times on a
standard server.
If you are migration from standard shares to DFS, keep in mind that standard
server only supports one Domain DFS Root.
But... you can fix that... :o)

Good luck...

Only the consolidation root feature in FSMT requires Enterprise Edition. The
file migration will work with a target Standard server.
