I created a Win2008 DFS namespace today that had the same name as a share on
a multi-purpose remote site DC running Win2003. For example:

* Win2008 DFS Namespace: \\mydomain.com\mydata
> Target: \\win2008srv1\mydata

* Win2003 DC file share: \\MyServer\mydata (to local drive d:\mydata)

When clients (winXP) try to connect \\myserver\mydata, they're being
referred to the Win2008 DFS namespace! If I open the DFS tab for the share
on "MyServer", it shows a referral to "\\win2008srv1\mydata". What the ...?

I've removed the namespace for now, but my DC seems to have cached this
referral and I can't remove it. So from another machine, I can connect to
the correct share again, but on the DC itself, it's still trying to get to
the referral.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated...
