Hi

In our environment we have recently discovered that we are unable to
remotely connect to clusters through cluster administrator. The error we
receive is

"access denied Error ID 5: (00000005)"

In clusadmin it is possible to browser for all the cluster names but not
connect. There does not appear to be any errors being logged in the event
log on either the local server or remote server.

The account using clusadmin have the same privielgies on all of our cluster
servers.

To be honest I am not sure when this occurred but the only change we have
had recently is the application of SP2.

The details are as follows:

W2K3 SP2

As anyone else seen this problem and can maybe help

Thanks

You might have to recreate the cluster account, or at least check that you
have the correct rights as detailed here:

Hi

I have checked the account configuration and these are all correct. We are
a bit reluctant to initiate the creation of a new cluster account. Is there
any other actions we could look at in the first instance

Thanks
