Hi

I have problem setting batch file run on failover event. I declared it as a
Generic Application and set dependencies, but as soon as it finishes,
cluster claims that resource failed and attempts to move the group.
I set "Don't restart" flag, but wonder if there is real way to do so

Thanks,
Dmitry

Just in case anyone interested:
run
%systemroot%\cmd.exe /K "#path_to_batch_file#"
"/K" will ensure that your command prompt still hanging thus causing Cluster
to assume that it is online.

Yes ok but the problem with that is that the resource is brought online just after the cmd is launched , not the batch file !

So have you an answer to not brought the res online before the batch is over ( because if we make another resource dependant of this one it is launched before the batch is over )

Have you any idea ?
