We are UK/Playing For Success/after school project - partly
funded/partly voluntary.
There is a small classroom environment, 15 workstations, 1 AD server
and run short 10 week courses for 120 students. There is no full time
IT support - just me, half a day per week.
Each term we have to add and remove these as they change - the real
pain being the removal of 120 students - as we have to sort out the
file permissions of their profile folder directory - remove the user
from AD and the delete the profile and home directories.
I don't believe AD can do this in one go - not without a reasonable
amount of scripting code - which only I would be able to maintain and
if it went wrong...
So - are there any tools to do this, or open source packages that can
wrap it up -so that we can just right click a term folder/OU and delete
it - which removes the AD users and the profile and home folders -
handling permission issues?
Many Thanks in advance for any tips/advice.

DSRAZOR for Windows is very popular with schools and universities for its
ability to handle operations like this in bulk. It can also assist with
bulk user adds and bulk user changes. For example you can use it to change
attributes such as description or department on all of your users by
highlighting them all and pressing a button.
