migration 2000 to 2003

Hello
I have a very simple setup, one domain controller running win2000, want to
replace it with another server, different hardware, running win2003.
what is the best way to do so, any articles about this proceudre.

Are you going to have two servers at the same time??

If so Load 2003, promote the server to DC, make sure it host DNS or what
ever services your 2k box does, seize FSMO roles, let it replicate
,remove old DC and your good to go!!

IF i missed something someone please advise!!

Hello
Thanks for the response, No I am not going both on line. Only the 2003, the
old one had the DNS and DHCP servers.
Do I need to use "dcpromo.exe" to promote it and demote the old one?
Can I use "ADMT", will it move or copy users and computers?

What do you mean by "seize the FSMO roles"
