Second DNS server

We have one (first) AD where is also DNS service. On second machine we setup
second AD (dcpromo / additional DC) and both AD's creates replica.

But on second AD there is no DNS server... What is standard procedure to
create replica DNS on second server?

Hello Steve,

First make in DNS management your zones Active directory integrated.
Add remove programs, windows components, networking services, details and
install DNS from there. Check that the servers NIC is only poiting to the
running DNS and give it time for replication, because it is AD integrated
you have only to wait. Min 15 minutes then the zones will be replicated.
After replication change NIC settings to preferred itself and secondary to
the other DNS server on BOTH machines and reconfigure the clients to use
both DNS servers.
Also make bot DC's Global catalog server.
