Why can't I install PowerShell 2.0 CTP on Vista sp2?

The message I get when installing PowerShell 2.0 CTP is:

"Cannot install Windows PowerShell(TM) V2 (CTP) because the operating system
installed on this computer does not support Windows PowerShell(TM) V2 (CTP)
Refer to Windows PowerShell(TM) V2 (CTP) documentation for supported versions
of the Operating System."

I have:
Windows Vista Ultimate SP2
32-bit os
.NET framework 3.5 SP1

I have uninstalled PowerShell 1.0.

Is there a Windows feature that I need to turn on?

I found the PowerShell 2.0 CTP3 download. It installed fine.

There should be a link on the CTP download pages (or any of the product
download pages) to the newest release of the product.

Yes, go to
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx
search for CTP3
and it is on the list, probably at the top of the list.

Have you tried to download CTP from this page:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=c913aeab-d7b4-4bb1-a958-ee6d7fe307bc&displaylang=en
And recheck if you have .NET Framework 2.0 installed.

I don't remember if installer (CTP3) asks for ISE installation. Newest WSMAN
version asks this and if .NET 3.5 is not installed - this option will be
unavailable.

can help one
