XP home sp2 with ZA suite firewall - I have a zone in my firewall called
'loopback adaptor' ip 127.xxx.xxx.x If I block it I get intermittent web
connection Is this adaptor a function of the OS or the cable internet
connection (charter)? I had this router on a different cable system and
don't recall loopback being part of my network.
Thanks much. Scott

For details about how to setup ZA check with ZA support. 127.0.0.1 is
the loopback address of your computer. It basically addresses your own
computer from your own computer. IMHO the loopback address should never
be blocked. You very much disrupt the communication on the computer.

Thanks Gerald. I recently had a downloader and keylogger installed on my box
and am checking everything that looks suspicious and a lot I don't
understand. Scott
