Go into Shared Documents on your hard drive. The videos are located in
the Recorded TV folder. Just record to your DVD burner.

Yes and you can view them with Windows Media Player 9.

Windows Media Player 9 on a MCE Machine patched with the latest critical
update, can play them. WMP9 on non-MCE machines can not, yet. This will be
fixed in the future.
