Windows Media Player, Version: 10.00.00.4036
Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, Version: 5.1.2700.2180

The album covers do not consistently show up in the Window Media Player
Library, even though I always see the album cover on the audio disc that is
being ripped in MyMusic of Windows Media Center. I have tried using the “Find
Album Info” to update the album cover art in the library, but while I can see
the proper Album cover is retrieved, the library is not updated when I click
the “Finish” button. (It does not show in the “Visualization Pane” when
“Album Art” is selected.) Does anyone know why the Windows Media Player
Library does not get updated?

When the disc is ripped, the album cover art shows on the ripped disc in
MyMusic of Media Center, but not always on the newly created album. But when
in individual song is selected, the album art will appear with the song title
in Media Center, but not in visualization pane of Media Player Library.
(These windows tract when the album art is in the Media Player library). So
the album art is on the computer, but where? If I could find it, I could
update the cover of the Windows XP folder containing the song titles to force
the album art to appear in the MyMusic window of Media Center. Does anyone
know how I can find where this album art is stored on the computer?

Does anyone know if Microsoft is working on fixing the inconsistent update
of existing album art (it is shown on the disc being ripped) into the Media
Player Library when ripping audio discs?
