barry,

You can import an album image for an album that doesn't have one. Scan your
CD, or tape cover art and save it to the folder where the albums tracks are
located,usually in "My Music\Artist\Album name|" and name it "folder.jpg"

Do not create a high resolution image, as it will take longer for MC to
display it.

Regards,

Luis

One important point to note is that for each album to have a different
picture, you need to make sure that your music is organized in such a way
that each album is in a separate folder. Otherwise, the folder.jpg files
will overwrite each other every time one is updated.

I did what you said. I do get a pitcure in media player, and as well for each
song when I am playing it in MCE, but it will not display the album art when
I go into albums or artist (list by albums). It still just shows the genric
icon. It will only show the album art when I play a song...Can I get it to
show the art right off the bat in the album setion etc. so that I have no
genric labels in that menu.

Thanx

Hmm, I've read of this happening if there is a corrupted folder.jpg file. I
would try deleting all of the folder.jpg files in your music folder and let
Windows Media Player (or Media Center) retrieve them anew. If you created
your own folder.jpg files, you might want to try removing all of these first
and then seeing what happens.

I have had the same problem since upgrading to MCE 2005. The weird thing is
that when I oen my music in MC the album artwork doesn't show. However if I
sort by artist and then sort alphabetically the art work shows up.

I have tried deleting the artwork as suggested below but it still doesn't
work. I have tried using Tag & Rename, but no luck.
