I have a SONY IC Recorder ICD-B600. Please advise how I transfer recordings
from the Recorder to my Dell XP Computer - I have Windows Media - so that I
can then burn CD's - This is mostly grandkids conversations. Thanks very much.

I must make the assumption the Sony has an earphone out capability. I
further assume the PC has a Mic In or Line In. Line in is preferable. Go get
yourself a free download of Audacity from somewhere and have at it. You need
a cable that will connect from the headset out of the Sony to the Line In of
the PC. Audacity might look a little daunting, but basic use is pretty easy.
It will capture your audio in a variety of formats onto your PC, which you
can then burn to CDs.
