Recently upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 Home Priemum. All has worked well
until yesterday after upgrading from a dial-up to broadband connection.
Apparently I've clicked something I shouldnt have as now everytime I try to
launch any program, WMC opens. Unable to launch Internet Explorer, Live Mail
or any other program. Seven shortcut icon logos have changed and now show the
WMC logo although the appropiate program name remains. i.e., Internet
Explorer, TaxAct 2009,Poker Superstars II, Punch AS4000 Home design, RegCure,
CanoScan and McAfee Security Center. Help please!

try a system restore to a point before this "upgrade". you should not need your
ISPs software to connect via Ethernet to a cable/DSL modem.
