Its still working OK on some other PCs I have but not on my main one!
I've tried uninstalling it and then re installing it but with the same
effect.
Yesterday I installed anonymiser on my PC and am wondering if this might
have been interfering with Live Sync ... so I removed that software but Live
Sync still crashes.
Can someone please help?
tks
I even did a full C:\ system drive image restore to about a month ago when
all was working (although one of the synced folders is on another drive and
wasn't restored), and LiveSync still crashes on startup. So I am guessing
the problem is at Microsoft's servers, or some change in my synced folder's
data is crashing the program.
Hi Sync folks,
On Monday, January 19th, Windows Live Sync will be unavailable from 11 AM
PST until 4 PM PST while we perform some upgrades. We apologize for the
inconvenience and promise to have Sync back up and running as soon as we can!

It is too much to be coincidence that both mart and myself started having
Live Sync crash after this update.
What OS are you running on this machine? XP SP2 professional, Vista SP1 Ultimate, etc
Thanks!

I worked around the problem by going to the website and completely removing
the computer that LiveSync was crashing on. When I went back to that
machine, the crashes no longer occurred and I was able to reconstruct all my
sync associations.
This was on WinXP SP3.
I uninstalled and re-installed Live Sync and removed my computer from the website before the reinstall. So far, nothing has worked. I am successfully running Live Sync on four other XP machines.
Has anyone had a similar experience or found a solution?

Thanks Kim, unfortunately I no longer have logs to send. If mart is still
crashing, he can send his (before doing the workaround below).
