My wife used an instant messenger years ago. She has been using Facebook for
the pass few years. With so many different ways and services to keep in
contact are instant messaging services like Live Messenger still as popular
as in the past?

them to be extremely undependable for video as well as they only support
one at a time video conversations. There are many free programs out
there that support 6-12 people at once. They always seem to be working
fine and I have never had a issue with them.
